NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that we pause in our deliberations to urge Ameren Missouri to initiate a moratorium on utility disconnections for tornado-impacted residents until at least December 31, 2025, and to forgive utility debt accrued by households directly harmed by the May 16, 2025 storm. We further direct the Clerk of this Board to prepare a formal copy of this Resolution to be sent by the Clerk to those deemed appropriate by its sponsor.
